What is GlucoDock®?
GlucoDock® is a blood glucose monitoring module to detect the glucose level in human blood. GlucoDock® can be used in combination with iPhone (4S, 4, 3GS, 3), iPod touch (4, 3, 2 Generation), iPad (1, 2, 3) and the VitaDock® App.
Which devices are compatible with GlucoDock®?
You can use GlucoDock® with your iPhone (4S, 4, 3GS, 3G), iPad (1, 2, 3) and the iPod touch 4, 3, 2 Generation and further generations.
Can the GlucoDock® blood glucose monitoring module be used by multiple people?
You are able to connect up to 4 user accounts.
Does GlucoDock® require a separate power supply?
No, the connected iPhone, iPod touch or iPad supplies GlucoDock® with power.
Can the measuring unit within GlucoDock® be adjusted individually?
Of course. The VitaDock® App allows personal user settings, such as to determine measuring unites mmol/L or mg/dL.
Which test trips do I need for measuring with my GlucoDock®?
For the GlucoDock® glucose measuring module you need the GlucoDock® test strips.
Can I use other test strips with GlucoDock®?
No. GlucoDock® can only be used with GlucoDock® test strips designed by Medisana.
I ran out of GlucoDock® test trips and lancets. Where can I get new ones?
You can purchase the test strips (PZN 8488900) and the lancets (PZN 8922710) from every VitaDock® distributor, such as in T-Shops of the German Telekom,in pharmacies or directly in our online store.
Will my health insurance cover the costs of the test strips?
The GlucoDock® test strips are reimbursed upon the physicians prescription at your pharmacy.
